Assembled Mouthpiece & Barrel
To make our first sounds, we will begin with just the mouthpiece and the barrel. We will add the rest of the clarinet back on soon.
If your clarinet is already assembled, carefully remove the bell, lower joint, upper joint and place them back in the case to keep them protected.

Reading Music!!
This page shows notation for the doodlee-doos and mystery songs you learned on the 'Noise and Posture' webpage. In addition, you will find notation for the G Major and F Major scales. There are a few more pages on this website that you may find useful as you continue your studies and are here for you to come back to when you are ready. At this point, you've given yourself a great foundation to build from and should seek help from a private instructor or group ensemble. Check with your local music stores and schools to find the right teacher and/or group to continue your studies. Good luck and have fun learning!!!
